SmartPak

I just want to give a shout out to SmartPak, they are an amazing company an a fabulous representation of how customer service should operate! (This is by no means a paid endorsement, although that would be awesome if it was!!)

I have just finished designing a SmartPak for Notch, after much research and many questions I decided on a hoof supplement and a multi-vitamin.

Do you give supplements to your horse? If so how and why did you decide on what to give?

  1. I know lots of people who use Smart Pack - I give a couple of supplements. A liquid/coconut flavored Glucosamine-chondroitin liquid to help joints on my stiff QH gelding and some B-1 Crumble to the squirrelly arab cross (to calm?) and to the appy horse getting over soft tissue damage (can't hurt)b. I have given blood builder after mild colic and hoof builder but now use a paint-on hoof conditioner on the QH and Appy with splits in their hooves. I think they help....

  2. We do give Smartpak Supplements to Pippi, a joint and tendant supplement and a muscle recovery supplement. Pippi is a Hunter, and I strongly beleive in giving her body all the assistance I can to help her have a long healthy life beyond her competition career. She gives us all she's got, and in return I make sure she is healthy and sound. She eats an all natural diet, with great hay, and gets all the shots and feet work she needs. One has to give back to a partner.
